Undereye hollows and dark circles are a hereditary condition due to a multitude of reasons; dermal thinning with loss of elasticity, dermal pigmentation and loss of subdermal volume. We recommend addressing dermal thinning and elasticity and dermal pigmentation before considering subdermal volume replenishment. Majority of our patients do not need subdermal fillers after the skin tightening and pigment reduction treatment.
Periorbital aging leads to volume loss, wrinkles, fine lines, sagging of the eyelids. Non-surgical treatment for periorbital aging includes a series of THREE MFR-Microneedle Fractional Radiofrequency with at least ONE PRP- Platelet Rich Plasma or PRF- Platelet Rich Fibrin injection treatment to induce your own collagen, elastin and cell renewal for firmer, thicker, tighter and lifted skin.
A series of treatments is needed for best results. These treatments are natural and regenerative, individual results vary due to individual response.

Subdermal Volume Loss Replenishment with Undereye Dermal Filler Treatment.
For those with adequate skin density and firmness and minimal pigment changes, the subdermal volume can be restored with a very cautious placement of a suitable dermal filler with use of a blunt microcannula. The photos below are of our patients, before and after undereye dermal filler. Dr. Malik aims to reduce the depth of the undereye hollows by about 20% with a dermal filler. The conservative treatment approach is meant to reduce the incidence of chronic fluid collection which is a potential side effect of this treatment.
