At your initial visit Dr. Malik thoroughly evaluates you for suitability of any cosmetic treatment including chemical peels.

Certain skin conditions, medical disorders, even some prescription medications may make chemical peel treatment less than ideal and Dr. Malik can determine if you are a candidate for this procedure before you start.

At our office, we use a three part, medicated chemical peel aimed at correcting skin texture, superficial pigment irregularities, clogged pores, fine lines and inflammatory acne breakouts without over irritation of skin.

The treatment is well tolerated with minimum down time. For added patient comfort, we use a cool air “chiller” during the treatment to reduce transient burning pain.
