Laser treatment can be used  to effectively treat small blood vessels that appear on face and chest with sun dammage, age and Rosacea. The  laser can also treat small blood vessels associated with larger veins of lower extremeties in conjunction with sclerotherapy for varicose veins. For face and chest the treatments are often combined with IPL Fotofacial for a synergistic approach for maximum cosmetic improvement  of sun dammage or Rosacea. The treatment is done in multiple sessions. The number of sessions required to permanently get rid of unsightly veins depends on the extent of the area involved. Most patients find the treatment tolerable without any pain medicine.
